- Oregano, pepper and fine salt
- Non-stick spray or vegetable oil
-
1
Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
-
2
Prep the tart pan
Flour the counter and the tart pan. Grease the tart pan with non-stick spray or oil.
-
3
Line the tart pan
Roll out the dough until it's bigger than the tart pan. Place it in and press it against the edges.
-
4
Prep the filling
Cut the ham into small squares. Grate the mozzarella.
-
5
Mix the filling
Beat the 5 eggs. Add oregano, pepper and salt. Add the ham and cheeses. Mix well.
-
6
Fill the tart
Pour the filling over the dough in the tart pan.
-
7
Close the tart
Roll out the other portion of dough, wet the edges with water and cover the tart. Fold the edges to seal. Poke the surface with a fork.
-
8
Bake
Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 10 min on the lowest rack. Lower to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 15 more min until golden.
- Wetting the edge with water makes the two layers of dough stick together well.
- You can add sliced hard-boiled egg to the filling.
- Poking the top layer keeps it from puffing up during baking.
