🟢 Easy
The Argentine summer classic. White wine with seasonal fruit, soda water and a touch of sugar. Fresh, fruity, and perfect for sharing in big batches.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle dry white wine (750 ml)
- 1 can peaches in syrup (with their juice)
- 1 orange, in wedges
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 cup strawberries, halved
- 200 ml (¾ cup + 1 tbsp) soda water or sparkling mineral water
- 2 tbsp sugar (optional)
- Ice, for serving
Preparation
-
1
In a large pitcher, add the cut fruit: orange wedges, diced apple and strawberries.
-
2
Add the canned peaches with all their syrup.
-
3
Pour the white wine over the fruit. If you'd like it sweeter, add sugar and stir until dissolved.
-
4
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours so the fruit marinates.
-
5
Right before serving, add the cold soda water and stir gently. Serve in glasses with ice.
Tips
- It's good after 2 hours in the fridge, but overnight it's incredible.
- You can use any seasonal fruit: kiwi, plum, melon, fresh peach.
- A fancier version: swap the soda water for brut sparkling wine right before serving.
